My paintings rely solely on memory. 

Memory transforms an actual image into another image, which is not only constructed from visual information but affected by the texture, warmth and atmosphere, thereby more true to nature and more essential than a photographic record of the subject.

I believe this approach allows me to accurately grasp true characteristics of the subject.
